I changed my mind, can I cancel my order?
As much as we would love to accommodate you, once the order has been placed it cannot be canceled.
What if I need to change or correct my shipping address?
Please contact us at customercare@thebonitobox.com, preferably within two hours from placing your order. We will do our best to change your address.
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately, not at the moment.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept most major credit cards including Visa, Discover and Mastercard.
What happens if I refuse the delivery?
Carriers charge a fee to return packages to a sender. A package shipped from us on your behalf, will incur a return shipping fee that you will be liable for if you refuse delivery, or if an attempt has been made multiple times by the carrier with no success.
I gave you the wrong shipping address. Can you change it?
If the package has left our facility, we cannot make any changes. Packages returned by the carrier will be refunded, however shipping charges cannot be refunded. If you request to re-ship please be aware that you will also be responsible for the re-ship charges.
The tracking on my order says it was delivered, but I never received it - can you help?
Once the package has left our facility, it's more effective to contact the carrier directly. Unfortunately, we can not be responsible for any refunds on lost, stolen or misdelivered packages. However, most carriers will accept claims for reimbursement within specific time periods.
What is the size of The Bonito Box?
The dimensions of our box are 14 inches long x 10 inches deep x 6 inches high; in our opinion the perfect size to store away.
Can I customize a box?
Unfortunately, we do not offer customization. But we have curated the products in our box to meet your needs for styling a beautiful cake table. Some of the products are reusable and intended to be stored in our custom Keepsake Box, perfect for shelf storage.
Can I purchase extra items?
Unfortunately, not at this moment, but we may offer this option in the future. Send us an email if this would interest you to customercare@thebonitobox.com.
Does the product come in other colors?
Not yet, but we have more color combinations in development.
Which of the products are reusable?
Of the many products included, the following are reusable: Dinner Plates, Dessert Plates, Flatware, Cake Topper, Cake Stand, Runner, Garlands (if handled with care), Chiffon Ribbon (if handled with care) and a Keepsake Box.
Will The Birthday Travel Kit pass security at the airport?
All products included in The Birthday Travel Kit are permitted on carry-on bags and checked bags. In any case, please be aware that the final decision always rests with the TSA officer on whether an item is allowed through the checkpoint.
Are the items of The Birthday Travel Kit reusable?
No, the items in The Birthday Travel Kit are not reuseable, but the good news is that all the products selected are safely sealed with convenient packaging so you’re worry-free and travel-ready.

What is your service area?
We offer local delivery to select New York City and Hudson Valley locations.
What is your minimum order requirement for local delivery?
Minimum order requirements for local delivery range from $55 to $110 depending on delivery location.
What are the local delivery charges?
We offer a flat delivery fee of $10 for the following areas:
NYC Zip codes: 10011, 10015, 10018, 10019, 10020, 10023, 10024, 10025, 10026, 10027, 10031, 10032, 10033, 10034, 10036, and 10040
Hudson Valley Zip code: 10990
We offer a flat delivery fee of $25 for the following areas:

How long will local delivery take?
We process orders placed after 5 PM on the next business day. Delivery typically takes up to 48 hours, depending on your location. If you have a specific delivery date in mind, you can specify your preferred delivery date at checkout.
Can I track my local delivery order?
Currently, we do not offer real-time tracking for local deliveries. However, our team will ensure your order arrives on time. If you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to us for assistance at customercare@thebonitobox.com.
Can I request a specific local delivery time?
Yes, you can specify your preferred delivery window (morning, afternoon, or evening) at checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your request, although exact timing may vary based on delivery routes and schedules.
What happens if I'm not home for the local delivery?
We recommend providing detailed address and access information (such as gate codes or concierge instructions) to ensure the delivery can be made successfully. This way if you are unavailable, we may leave your order at a secure location. Please contact us for more details or assistance with rescheduling.
